Europe's largest show — the Festival of Light — is taking place in Berlin. Incredible light shows are held every evening at about fifty locations throughout the city.

- On Sunday, the traditional Oktoberfest in Munich, which lasted from September 21, ended. This year, it was visited by about 6.7 million people. About 7 million liters of beer were drunk during the festival.
- In Germany, payments to refugees may be cut against the background of a general tightening of conditions for receiving social benefits. The draft of the relevant law has already been prepared and sent to the Bundestag.
- On Saturday, a peaceful action was held in the city of Wuppertal in honor of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, which is celebrated on October 1. The purpose of the event was to draw Germany's attention to Ukrainian prisoners of war and missing persons.
- The Festival of Light is taking place in Berlin right now. It will last from October 4 to 13. This year's theme of the festival is the celebration of freedom. Every evening from 19:00 to 23:00 light shows are held at approximately 50 locations around the city.
We would like to remind you that Ukrainians who have cars with Ukrainian license plates in Germany and have kept them in the country for more than a year must register vehicles according to German rules from October 1, 2024.
We should also note that German self-propelled guns, Leopard tanks and Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns will now be repaired in Ukraine.
